Cardio/Strength Training

Functional Fitness

This “Total Development” functional fitness class is a fusion of resistance training, cardio, sports drills and an array of new and exciting exercises to keep you continually challenged! Class is held in the main fitness area, so make sure you sign up!

HIIT Target Mix

High-Intensity Interval Training is the quickest way to burn fat and gain muscle simultaneously. Optimize your workout by utilizing a series of short, high-intensity intervals, followed by longer, low-intensity intervals. We’ll use all sorts of exercises and equipment to get the job done!

Functional Fitness

This “Total Development” functional fitness class is a fusion of resistance training, cardio, sports drills and an array of new and exciting exercises to keep you continually challenged! Using various muscles in the upper and lower body simultaneously also emphasize core stability. Class is held in the main fitness area, so make sure you sign up!

Target Mix/Spartacus

This explosive workout mixes varied (10-15 minute) intervals at rotating stations grouping muscle-specific exercises, total body exercises and a cardio component to “push” the upper limit of your max heart rate continually. The focus is on training endurance, strength and power.

BootCamp Mix

Build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals. You will be using functional bodyweight movements like push-ups, squats, sit-ups and more all interspersed with cardio intervals…..get ready to sweat!

Body Sculpt

Total body workout utilizing dumbbells, kettlebells, tubing, and functional body weight exercises for muscle toning with a focus on core strength. Get ready to fatigue those muscle groups!

Mobility, Balance and Core

A wide variety of equipment and various training techniques will be used to address joint range-of-motion, dynamic and static balance, core strength/stabilization and postural alignment. Give it a try!

Lengthening/Restorative Training

Skinny Jeans

Don’t let the name fool you! You will sculpt, tone, strengthen and stretch using low/no impact techniques from ballet, pilates and yoga. This class is an excellent compliment to the high-intensity and resistance training classes.

Pilates Mix

Pilates-based movements where small weights and weighted balls are used to enhance muscular endurance and toning. Its all the rage!

Yoga

Yoga means “Union” which is achieved by a series of moves combining three concepts: Vinyasa – breathing and moving in a flowing system; Tristhana – three places of attention (posture, breathing and the focal point for the gaze) and Internal Purification – “burning away” unpleasant thoughts to allow your inner light to shine…Namaste!

TRX Training

TRX Level I

The fundamental suspension training exercises that strengthen the core, develop muscle balance and joint flexibility are the targeted movements in this foundation class. You’ll learn how to isolate muscle groups and engage your core for a dynamic, complete workout.

TRX Level II

Multiple-plane movements, cardio intervals, compound muscle groups…once you have mastered the core movements…this one will challenge you !

TRX/BOSU

The double-whammy…core from the top down (TRX) and bottom up (BOSU)! Intense core stabilization exercises to strengthen the center of all movements – your core. A continual cardio component makes this a truly unique class.

TRX Circuit

TRX coupled with just about anything! A dynamic class with multi-joint, super-set and bodyweight exercises coupled with cardio intervals…too much fun for the body to have!

Spin Training

Road Spin

Close your eyes. You are outside riding in the peloton. Experience an outdoor ride complete with hill challenges, sprint intervals, time trials and endurance work…all without the hassles of traffic!

Interval Spin

This class will target designated heart-rate and resistance ranges. Push your upper limit then recover with a lower heart-rate range to maximize calorie burn.

SpinSanity

Get ready to roll with this “Anything Goes” spin class. Sundays will NEVER be the same!
